Days before we leave for our trip to California, my mom puts an offer on the house… and it was accepted! It’s very “her” with a comfy warm feel and newer renovations. The kitchen is a bit small, but she has plans! She closes on November 29th and we have a bottle of champagne ready! More →

This made me cry more times than I can count, but a good cry. Why can’t we all aspire to be this loving and open in our relationships, workplace and with the rest of the world? I might categorize this as one of those life-changing moments. What if we were appreciate and were appreciated this fully before we die? This subject is near and dear to my heart. After receiving a HUGE kick in the pants to get active in my own life this year, I started looking back at my past. I feel very ironic to get inspired about what I can do at home to change my energy uses when just 20 years ago I was living exactly what I am preaching. More →

a full-bread cardigan corgi, high on life
Emily (my new assistant) and her pup Sadie are officially joining us every Wednesday so Emily can help me with my projects. Emily is a godsend and Sadie entertains my dogs and provides some comedic relief. Pup’s such a character, at 10 months she races around the house. Jenna runs and hides for some time-outs.
